Kids For Wish Kids
published November 2016
Kids For Wish Kids is a popular
program because it is managed by
kids. The program allows K-12 students
to raise funds and help grant
wishes for kids with life-threatening
medical conditions.
Students are responsible for the program
from brainstorming fundraising
ideas and developing plans of action,
to seeing the ideas come to fruition.
Teachers and parents often serve as
advisors, but ownership of the project
belongs solely to the kids involved. Kids and teens choose an idea for a
fundraiser and then organize and manage their project from start to finish.
